President Trump still enjoys an approval rating above 30%, but how is that possible given the countless scandals that have been like a dark cloud over the White House ever since Trump moved in.
First, it was Trump’s ties to the Russian interference, which eventually led to a Congressional investigation. Then, it came out that Trump may have also cheated on first lady Melania Trump back in 2006 during the first years of their marriage.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier this month that Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen paid off a porn star several years ago in an effort to keep quiet about an affair she allegedly had with Trump.
Cohen, of course, denied the accusation but not the payment. Which begs the question: why would Trump pay such a large amount if he had, in fact, done nothing wrong?
Then after Michael Wolff published his book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump Administration and proceeded to go on Bill Maher’s “Real Time” HBO show and assert that Trump was currently having an affair, the rumors really started to fly.
In fact, rumor has it that Wolff was referring to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley as the woman Trump is currently having an extramarital affair with. However, Haley denounced the rumors as”disgusting” and “offensive.”
Haley told Politico, Haley said rumors are “absolutely not true.” The former South Carolina governor went on to claim that she and the president are never alone together so there is no way the allegations could be true.
“So the idea that these things come out, that’s a problem,” she insisted. “But it goes to a bigger issue that we need to always be conscious of: At every point in my life, I’ve noticed that if you speak your mind and you’re strong about it and you say what you believe, there is a small percentage of people that resent that and the way they deal with it is to try and throw arrows, lies or not,” Haley said.
Do you think Trump is sleeping with Nikki Haley or Hope Hicks?
