Trump Greeted With Banner Saying He’s ‘Not Welcome’ In Davos

On Thursday, President Trump arrived in Davos, Switzerland to join global elites at the World Economic Forum. However, not everyone was happy to see the 45th President of the United States arrive.

While Trump has been in office he has brought a significant amount embarrassment to America from foreign allies. Form his tweets to his misguided decisions, our global allies literally wonder if Trump is mentally fit to lead the world’s only true economic superpower.

On Wednesday, global leaders gathered at a panel hosted by the editor of The Washington Post to discuss President Trump’s “America First” doctrine and the effects it would have on the global economy. Many experts argued that Trump’s decision to leave Trans-Pacific Partnership will leave America behind and allow other countries such as China to step in and fill the void.

Republican Senator Bob Corker spoke on behalf of America at the panel and declared that the Trump administration had no clear strategy for how to deal with foreign trade. Therefore, given Trump’s recent decisions, Swiss protesters greeted Trump with a banner that says Trump is “not welcome” on the side of a Swiss mountain so that he could see it when he arrived.

The Swiss group Campax is taking credit for putting up the banner that reads:”Trump not welcome!” The group argues that they are working diligently toward “a fair and green economy and for a society that is founded on solidarity and compassion.”

According to their site, Campax claims President Trump “stands for racism, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, sexism, hostility towards women, warfare, denial of climate change, attacks on human rights and a policy that deepens poverty and inequality.”

What do you think of their greeting for Trump?
