Guggenheim Museum Offers Trump Gold Toilet Following His Request For Van Gough Painting

President Trump is a trust fund baby who thinks he can get whatever he wants from whomever he wants whenever he wants. The spoiled brat whines every single time he doesn’t get his way.

Currently, he is holding 800,000 DACA recipients hostage in a pathetic effort to get funding for his border wall. As Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer pointed out during the recent government shutdown, Trump’s lack of compromise and solid stance is the root of all the disagreements in Congress.

While Republicans blamed the Democrats and argued that they were putting Dreamers before thousands of government employees, Schumer reminded lawmakers that he offered a deal that included funding for the wall and he still refused. Schumer claimed his offer was “very generous” and if Trump had accepted it, the government shutdown would have likely been avoided.

However, due to Trump’s comments and backlash from progressive groups, Schumer has withdrawn his offer to fund Trump’s wall. So it looks like Trump may lose this battle after all.

Trump was also recently denied a request by The Guggenheim Museum to hold on to a Van Gough painting.  Reports indicate, that Trump had requested to borrow a Van Gogh painting from the museum, but the Guggenheim declined and offered Trump another piece.

Museum curator Nancy Spector told Trump in an email, “We are sorry not to be able to accommodate your original request, but remain hopeful that this special offer may be of interest.”

Spector offered Trump an 18-karat, fully functioning toilet was used as a temporary interactive exhibit in one of the museum’s bathrooms. The piece, titled “America,” mocks excessive wealth.

The artist described the piece as “one-percent art for the ninety-nine percent. In the past he also explained the piece, saying: “whatever you eat, a two-hundred-dollar lunch or a two-dollar hot dog, the results are the same, toilet-wise.”

Do you think Trump will accept their offer?
