Former Trump Campaign Manager Addresses Recent Sexual Misconduct Allegations During Latest Interview

On Wednesday, Corey Lewandowski, former Trump campaign manager, appeared on Fox Business Network.

During the interview, Lewandowski spoke about the allegations with host Charles Payne, who was suspended in July during an investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against himself.

“Well, Charles, I think as someone who has been through this, you understand that there is a due process and there is a process which they will go through to determine a person’s innocence, which I think you’ve been through, and you understand it and you respect it,’ he said.

Lewandowski was then asked to respond to the allegations.

“That’s a question for her. I’m not here to speak for Joy. What I am going to do is to let the process play forward just as you did when you were accused of sexual harassment in your own case.”

Earlier this month, Trump supporter and singer Joy Villa accused Lewandowski of sexual misconduct.

In an interview with Politico, Villa said, “I’m wearing this silver suit and stretchy pants, and after the photo, he smacks my ass really hard. It was completely demeaning and shocking.”

“The detective I talked to said that sexual harassment is what happens in the workforce. The detective told me, ‘what you describe happened to you is sexual assault,” she added.
