On Wednesday, “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert spoke about the recent firing of Trump administration member Omarosa Manigault.
“Folks, this is huge. With Omarosa gone, who’s going to be in charge of …” Colbert began
He continued, stating, “This is incredible. The Secret Service physically dragging someone from the White House. Though, it’s good practice for when Robert Mueller finishes his investigation.”
Colbert then took a shot at President Trump.
“I am livid about this. Not because Omarosa should be anywhere near the White House. She should not. But because Donald Trump let Gen. Kelly do the firing? What the hell? Firing Omarosa is literally the only job Donald Trump is qualified for.”
Manigault was a contestant on season one of Trump’s show “The Apprentice.”
According to The Hill, “Trump administration aide Omarosa Manigault Newman reportedly set off White House alarms in an attempt to gain access to the residence after learning that she had been fired from her job… Manigault Newman tried to enter the White House residence after chief of staff John Kelly told her that her employment in the administration would end in January.”
