Nobody knows for sure if former Vice President Joe Biden is going to make a Presidential bid in 2020, however many speculate that he might. Nonetheless, Obama’s former VP has made numerous appearances lately where he has blasted Trump. During a recent interview, Biden asked if he could cite anything positive Trump had done or anything he had at least done well. All Biden could respond with was: “he married very well.” Biden explained: “I think there’s a number of things he’s doing well. But even the things he’s doing well, it’s how he does them. It’s more the tone of this administration that bothers me.”
Then the show host interjected: “With all due respect, you haven’t come up with one thing you think he’s doing well.” Biden replied: “Well, I think he married very well.” He went on to say: “I can’t think of something right now. But I’m not being a wiseguy. There’s a lot of the country that’s still functioning.”
Biden did get around to giving 45 credit for keeping military personnel stationed in the Middle East who were there at the end of the Obama administration. Biden has been making a lot of press appearances lately promoting his new memoir which comes out later this week. Last week, Biden ripped Trump’s “phony nationalism” and said it was infecting the fabric of America.
Biden has always been a very outspoken critic of President Trump and according to the former VP, he is the only Democrat who has a chance at defeating Trump. Some critics say Biden is too old or the party needs fresh faces. Hollywood actor George Clooney said the other day the Democrats need a candidate who can “light up a room.” 2020 is approaching and the Democrats need to find a candidate and get behind them once and for all.
