It is no secret that President Donald J. Trump is not a well-read leader. He clearly has never read a history book and from his tweets, one can tell that he is an atrocious speller and has terrible grammar. However, Trump does love to watch himself on TV and we can assume that suffices as his way of gaining information.
Therefore, not many were surprised when he awoke on Tuesday morning and took to Twitter to blast books and articles that he has likely not even read. Trump tweeted: “Fascinating to watch people writing books and major articles about me and yet they know nothing about me & have zero access. #FAKE NEWS!”

Trump’s bashing was likely directed towards Katy Tur’s new book Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat To The Craziest Campaign In American History. Tur, who is an NBC News correspondent, published the memoir recalling the year and a half she spent following around and reporting on the Trump campaign.
The Washington Post asserts that Tur’s book points out the indignities she suffered as a woman covering a deeply misogynistic candidate. She even goes on to explain the personal grudge Trump himself developed against her. In fact, the Post reports Trump called her “little Katy” and other sexist pet names.
However, Trump seemed to be referring to more than one book, he used the word “books.” The President may also be referring to the recently published ‘Devil’s Bargain: Steve Bannon, Donald Trump, and the Storming of the Presidency.’ The author is none other than Bloomberg Business reporter Joshua Green.
As far the reference to articles, Trump has too many critics to pin point just exactly which ones he is talking about. Nonetheless, he has yet to refute the authors’ accusations in a professional manner.
