Trump’s Chief Of Staff Fires Back At Dem Rep After Recent Criticism

White House chief of staff John Kelly recently fired back at one Dem Rep who criticized him following President Trump’s decision to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Kelly fired back at Rep. Luis Guitérrez (D-Ill.) in an email sent to Fox News.

Kelly wrote, “As far as the congressman and other irresponsible members of Congress are concerned, they have the luxury of saying what they want as they do nothing and have almost no responsibility.”

Kelly continued, writing, “They can call people liars, but it would be inappropriate for me to say the same thing back at them.  As my blessed mother used to say, ‘Empty barrels make the most noise.’ ”

Kelly was responding to a statement Rep Gutiérrez released last week.

Gutiérrez blasted Kelly, stating, “General Kelly is a hypocrite who is a disgrace to the uniform he used to wear. He has no honor and should be drummed out of the White House along with the white supremacists and those enabling the President’s actions by ‘just following orders.”

Around 800,000 people are expected to be effected by President Trump’s decision to end the DACA program.

Last Tuesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions officially announced Trump’s decision, stating, “The program known as DACA that was effectuated under the Obama administration is being rescinded.”
