On Friday, a Pro-Trump group issued a clear warning to The New York Times in a video that was posted on Twitter.
The Twitter account “NRATV” posted the video with Conservative political pundit and National Rife Associate spokeswoman Dana Loesch.
“We’re going to laser-focus on your so called ‘honest pursuit of truth.’ In short, we’re coming for you. Consider this a shot across your proverbial bow,” Loesch said.
She continued to attack The New York Times in the video, stating, “We’ve had it with your constant protection of your Democrat overlords, your refusal to acknowledge any truth that upsets the fragile construct that you believe is real life. And we’ve had it with your pretentious, tone-deaf assertion that you are in any way truth or fact-based journalism. The only way we stop this, the only way we save our country and our freedom is to fight this violence of lies with the clenched fist of truth.
This is not the first time the NRA has called out news outlets.
According to The Hill, “Last month The Washington Post was the subject of a NRA video accusing the newspaper of trying to take away gun rights. And earlier this year, the NRA released a controversial recruitment video featuring Loesch attacking the media, Hollywood and other U.S. institutions.”
