President Trump continues to be a lame duck President despite bragging about his so-called accomplishment at the G20 summit in Germany. Trump claims that during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit he established an agreement to a ceasefire between Free Syrian Army forces and the murderous regime of Bashar al-Assad in a small pocket of southwest Syria.
Given that the Republican health care proposal is likely dead, Trump is desperate for a victory. However, it is important to note that Trump also suggested after the meeting creating a US-Russia “cyber security unit.” A proposal which got significant negative backlash from lawmakers, intelligence officials, and Americans. Due to the stark criticism, Trump decided to back track on that proposal after was educated of the dangers of such an alliance.
The fact that President Putin and I discussed a Cyber Security unit doesn’t mean I think it can happen. It can’t-but a ceasefire can,& did!

…We negotiated a ceasefire in parts of Syria which will save lives. Now it is time to move forward in working constructively with Russia!

However, the ceasefire came to a screeching halt just a few days later due to the Putin-backed Bashar al-Assad regime. In fact, according to Syrian pro-state media outlet al-Masdar, the Syrian Arab Army embarked on a “Titanic blitz” as part of “Operation Big Dawn” reclaiming 3,000 kilometers of territory in just 12 hours.
Social media users confirmed that the ceasefire had, in fact, ended.
I don’t really know what ‘ceasefire’ is really going on in southern Syria because heavy fighting is taking place all across the region

Are you tired of Trump exploiting the Syrian people to make himself look like a good leader?
